Am I seeing things correctly here??? Snack's 22 appears to have a separate "brace" as opposed to the box design???? or is the "wrap" in conjunction with the box? I can not see enough of it from the pic.

Oh fricking A I am looking at his lower not his upper! He's boxed.

I'll have to check. 21 sas. Have not wheeled it much as we've been taking the jeep but now I'm curious. Are any on the cracks you found on the lowers or all on the uppers?

So this Bronco has the worst that Iā€™ve ever seen. Itā€™s a first run of the 21, V6 Badlands from dirt mountain. The bracket was MESSED up. It was rewelded by the owner and then those broke as well. He is currently up in it, welding it again.

I think this shows the Bronco was only designed to endure the off-roading the Offrodeo presents. Consumers always push the limits. Thats where the aftermarket comes in. Iā€™m sure someone will produce a complete new heavy duty frame.

Im not really sure what this means yet. So far Iā€™ve established that about 50/50 of all broncos produced in 2021 have the weaker open design vs the stronger boxed design.
So far it seems all 22+ Broncos have the stronger boxed design.
I have yet to see a single failed boxed design and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to who got the weaker, open design in 2021.
The best reason Iā€™ve heard yet is supply chain/Covid crap but who knows.

Simply means in my opinion the Broncos are pushed beyond their limits. The Off rodeo is more in line with the design capabilities. Ford knows what people will do, but canā€™t build it to conquer any trail. Sure they may tweak areas as they learn whatā€™s needed. But for extreme off roading you need better. I should know, I watch YouTube!
