I can’t find Mitch Creek’s posts on IG.

Oh I know they will. But I could care less about me getting a warranty repair on this. My dealer is very well aware of my antics main point here is that Ford clearly thinks the boxed design is needed and switched to it entirely for 2022. I know there are a lot of posts here now, but there are now two stock Broncos that have premature failing too. Both wheel hard but are stock. So even stock “could” experience failure. If anything, hopefully this is a heads up to check if you have open design and if you do, regular inspections for cracking to prevent failure on the trail. If you’re on the IG, check out Mitch Creek’s latest post. His brackets are literally falling off lol.

And someone brought up to me that the frame dates of manufacture don’t necessarily coincide with the bronco date. So a later bronco could get an early frame or something like that. This could be the answer

7/21 I wouldn’t say it’s been on really hard trails as it hasn’t been offroad out of state.

Live by brackish waters and was probably submerged to this point for some hours during Ian.

For your sake and others, you should have documented the damage rather than trying to fix it. I understand wanting things squared away, but you may have lost an opportunity for Ford to evaluate the situation and if needed, issue a recall.
