and just for laughs.... do you think Ford means "Pedestrians with Complex backgrounds, or pedestrians that the system cannot distinguish from a group" as perhaps being a bit open to misrepresentation? Like if you are driving through UCLA and there is a mathematician, your car would not brake for him, or her. I mean I get it, but why put it in the system if it's most likely not going to work. I don't think there are a lot of Urban driving situations where a pedestrian would NOT have a complex background. Actually, it's sort of, would you want a Tesla to be driving on its own with anything close to this disclaimer? I'm sure I will catch a lot of grief from this post and I am a Ford enthusiast....thank you for posting that!. My window sticker does not say all of that. It just says: Pre-collision assist with AEB, without breaking down the details like yours does. But I am assuming that your sticker's breakdown, is the same system as pre-collision with AEB. Your sticker specifically states; Pedestrian Detection, Forward collision alert, dynamic brake support: My window sticker just says: with pre-collision assist, with AEB. Is this just the verbiage on the window sticker? or could mine do less than what yours does? On the infotainment screen: it does let you turn emergency braking on and off. Interesting that it's so much more detailed on your sticker. I know that window stickers can vary.
