I ordered a console insert for my 2024 Outer Banks. Fits perfectly and makes much better use of the console storage area. As an added bonus I now have a hidden compartment in the console base.

I have this also, I do like it, but, a pain to get to the 12v charger port. I use it for a fridge or solar battery unit. The top tray needs to be removed in order to use it.

I have this insert as well. I found it to be a pain. It needs a better grip point in the middle for removal. It's slipped many times on me. Especially when it has coins and such. I glued a binder clip in the middle to help in removal and it works better now.

I ordered a 3' 12v extension which I can leave plugged in and that way you dont have to keep accessing the console storage. I use mine for a radar detector. The extension also has a cover attached that you can cap it with when not using.

You can insert the top tray when it's plugged into the port?

I found that this tray requires 2 hands to remove and replace comfortably. I saw a suggestion to drill 2 holes and put a piece of Paracord as a grab handle. I have found that a 3 point pickup would have been better. Not sure if I'll get a new one since I'm not in and out of here that much.

I believe that they also had a 2 part tray (one on top of the other) that you could get also. Anything is better that the tiny tray provided or just having a huge console to lose that chap stick in there.

I haven't had the need yet to remove the tray but this is great feedback. I may give the para cord idea a try.

I have the 2-part one (Wife got it on Amazon, I am sure). It is a really big useful upgrade for little cost.
Not perfect by any means, but far better than the single tray or none at all.

i have one like that. It constantly falls into the console and spills all its contents. I eventually added some Velcro to keep it in place and that has helped.
