WOW! Do you spend much time outdoors? If people would pick up there trash nature would be better off. It does not say a single thing about going out and being an idiot with animals trying to take a selfie or get to close to WILD animals. If you spent more time in nature you would see how destructive people are. Most of it is over being lazy.

Pick up your trash and put out your fires two things that would make a huge difference.

I love that nature provides that list you posted! It’s the reason I hike, camp, backpack, sail, etc. Backpacking in freezing temps. means I see less (or no) people on the trail (there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong gear!). I treat dangerous critters with respect, but it’s another reason I get out there. But nothing pisses me off more than when people leave their trash or graffiti when I try to go out and enjoy nature. It seems to have gotten worse during the pandemic.

Not being political and I get the conservation mindset...to a point. The US already does far more than many other nations (looking at you India/China and other near to far east nations). I remember the whole Starbucks straw thing...like 1% or less of the straws in the world as pollution are from the US.

Again I am all for not living in a trash bin and generally think you should leave the world a better place after you visit wherever you go in nature. Sadly a large chunk of the planet is not there yet and nothing we do is going to move them to do so until they make that choice.
