The best advice I can give you is to drop all expectations. You have thousands of people on this site that have tried to find rhyme and reason for what Ford is doing and no one has been successful.
So many build dates pushed with no expectations. It's extremely frustrating but it's not going to change anything. All is going to do is lower your quality of life while you wait.
This is coming from experience. I had a build date the 2nd week of June. I can't tell you how many times I got bumped until I finally got my Bronce the first week of Dec.
So much stress and frustration during that time and it didn't make my Bronco come any faster.
Just accept it is what it is and try not to stress too much when you get bumped...over and over and over.

I love these noobies that come on here and complain with one career post. First off read through some of the topics to educate yourself. 2nd, if you aren't waiting for your rig at least a year, you have nothing to complain about. If you are truly waiting since the first day, it took me a year and a half to get mine and I ordered on opening night.

Here I have been waiting a year with $6000 down plus my first day $100 reservation payment on the unveiling night( after waiting 4 hrs for the to fix their website) I ordered it 1 day after being contacted by my dealer. I have just decided that the are screwing the people who took the time to order early and rewarding others, Ford has screwed it up. I have done plenty of research on this. 160000 reservations, 125000 converted into orders. 5 months before Covid they had 160000 reservations!!! Why were chips and parts not ordered? Realizing not everything would be in, we would still be ahead of where we are now. Dealers can’t help Ford doesn’t return calls, and when you do get someone the jus say cancel we don’t care. Don’t even mention the FU’s with parts all that should’ve been sorted out since they announced the return in 2017. Here we are 2022, I ordered a 2021. According to the Ford web site in veiling and reservations took place July13. That’s when I paid $100 to reserve one that was converted to an order February 2 2021. So how could you have waited 1.5 years for you Bronco?

It's mostly you ... it is possible to have a first day reservation, but wasn't there a generic first order date for anyone who reserved prior to that date?

Even if you "ordered" before that date or on that date, your order date is the same as everyone else similarly situated. I reserved, August 23, 2020. If you re-ordered in a timely manner in 2021, you and I have the same order date.

Respectfully ... take some time and educate yourself on the issues: Ford's policy of only 50% of production addressing reservations. Allocations, dealer and regional. Constraints. 7,000 vehicles on "chip hold", not "chip shortage" on Ice Mountain(s). There are folks who have had their build date moved multiples of yours. You do yourself no favors by imaging you have been wronged to an extraordinary degree, certainly when compared to many others on here.

If you watch some of the "build week" threads, it appears many of the late build weeks are being moved in ... I suspect Ford put in a conservative late date until they got a better handle on actual chip replacement timing and are now moving many in on a case by case basis as their information firms up.

Putting money down before the car actually arrived was a mistake. Either by you or your crappy dealer asking for it. You shouldn't have put down more than the $100 reservation fee. Now I can see where this post's roots originated from. I'm sorry for your loss. But hang in there, it's worth the wait!

Ouch!!! ... ok, forgive me for not letting you vent ... you deserve it. I did MSRP +$1200, with $2000 down. Lead with that next time? Much greater sympathy factor - hope no more bumps in your future!!

In December, I received a build date of mid January, which got my excitement going after placing my first order back in March 2021. Now it’s been bumped to late February and I seriously doubt it will be built then. I wish I had not gotten the build notification in the first place because it was false hope.

I understand your frustration. I'm still waiting on mine, but for a much shorter period of time than many on here. At least you are not demanding some sort of compensation for your inconvenience like 0% interest, free accessories or something else that many on here feel entitled to receiving. Good luck.

I think yesterday was my 1 year anniversary for my res date. So, I can officially start "bitchin". Sweet!!

Not sure you could order or even reserve in February of 2020??? First reservations were made July 13, 2020.

Maybe you placed your order with your dealer in February of 2021? For reservation holders meeting the annual deadline, date of order with the dealer (not dealer to Ford) is meaningless. Ford treated everyone meeting the order deadline as ordered, after that it meant nothing.

For people ordering now (no reservations) order date does matter.

I ordered 10/22 and took delivery last week on Friday. I dropped some constraints, at least whatever were constraints at that time, so I'm not sure if that helped. I also had a friend who took delivery a few weeks earlier than me but was a day 1 reservation holder. It is really wild how this is working out .

We've been waiting on a damn mirror for 3.5 months and it doesn't even have and chips in it.
