Here is my custom selectable exhaust that I have been running now for a couple months. I wanted to be able to have it quiet at times so that is why I went this route. I tried the muffler delete and it had a extremely annoying wrap that i did not like, Also good aftermarket exhaust is not selectable. It took a lot of time to figure out how I wanted to do it and decided that I wanted it to go out the factory outlet. By just making a bypass the raspy sound got taken care of in the muffler, and sounds much better than just a muffler delete.
Here are the parts that I used:

Universal Vacuum Pump Controller Control Box Kit

Total Coat of about $210

Acceleration from stop

I made a connection so that the muffler could still be removed.

I really like this idea for exhaust, you get the best of both worlds. Are you still happy with it? Any chance you live in an area with snow and salt? I’m curious how it performs in the winter. And better pics of where you tapped into stock exhaust?
