We are very close to the same love for sound......especially the cat in the washing machine! HAHAHA! My preference would be V12 straight pipe> V10 (S85 from M5)> Flat plane V8> Flat 6> V8 >I6 > I4
Not sure why I left out v12 and v10. S85 sounds glorious , when it runs

I've installed Stainless Works Cat backs on my 2013 Raptor and 2018 Jeep. Better look, better sound ( measured at a 10 dB increase), better acceleration. Can't say if it improved mileage and hope Stainless Works will have a kit for the Bronco.

You have a good point with the V10. I was hyper anal retentive with my car, but I ran across more ragged out pieces of shit than I did a clean example like I drove. I also had a good friend who owned an Indy shop and we laid out a plan for upkeep and even reverse engineered a few of the high fail items. When I sold my car it had 138k miles and ran like it rolled off the assembly line. The rod bearings were original which again was due to us changing out the oil pan for an aftermarket unit with better clearance. There are so many issues to consider with that engine, but it isn't too difficult to maintain as almost all problems have been solved over the years. The Cayman has a different list of issues, but isn't that the fun in owning cars like these? For me at least. HAHA

I have a set of electric cutouts sitting on my shelf that i haven't used- i'll put them on because why not since i already own them and i can always close them if the 2.7 doesn't sound good with cutouts (which it probably won't) and i'll upload video once i do

I like that you can get that v10 with a manual, but I think when it comes to m5s I am an e39 fan boy.

My e36 is high milage and has a bunch of issues, but they're mostly minor. Putting the s85 in my e36 with a manual would be stupid and the best worst decision I've ever made

Does anyone know if that 4WP lifted Bronco had any pipe work on it? Or, any of the other Broncos that have been in shops?

I took a Huracan around a track for a few laps and oh lawd, that sound. Makes you question choices in life but then again my kids are worth it.

A v12 4 door would be the best dad car

OK can we hear a stock 2.7 Bronco now? Surely there’s a video out there some.

I don't want to make the Bronco any louder inside than I'm guessing it will already be. But... this sounds much better than I thought a V6 turbo could sound.

Thats HORRIBLE. Sound like a hole in the exhaust

new to car mods in general. What do people think about 2.7 ecoboob mods? Must have? annoying?

looking at something like this is this too loud in something like a bronco

https://www.borla.com/products/atak/
I've done several catback systems on my cars and trucks. The ATAKs are loud! I made that mistake (neighbors, Hwy. Troopers) once. The Touring versions are nice, fairly quiet until you get on it (right pedal), then sounds amazing. This goes for Borla, Corsa, AWE.

I have never heard a v6 sound good IMO. Most tunes on the 2.7 use stock exhaust to about 400HP (tune and intake) Only thing worse is a v10. It’s just not a synchronized sound. I much prefer a I4 to a V6 and of course, V8 is just the best soundtrack ????
I personally like the sound of the v10 much more than my 2016 2.7 f150. The v10 is different and sounds amazing at higher rpm with headers. It is one of the reasons the superduty is staying around when I get the 2.7 bronco. I will pry get a borla or something similar after other people experiment with the exhaust notes on the bronco.
