I have a soft top too. How did you pop that off? Do you need the A pillar popped off first?
Don’t remember, just kinda pried around. For the roll bar, I disassembled by taking the bolt out. Pretty sure I just pried around the a pillar though.

Oof. Thats just complicating things for no good reason. I highly recommend using fuse taps as your fuse box is right below the steering wheel. Much easier run. I can give you fuse numbers for both aux and constant power if needed.
I only have on constant, what fuses are you using for constant and aux/acc?

I believe im using 34 (30A) for a constant and 31 for aux/key on power.

If that doesn't work I'll go snap a photo for ya.

34 was the only constant I could find in the entire fuse box on the Micro2 side. 31 could be almost any of the other fuses that arent spares, but it has the proper spacing to fit both fuse taps comfortably.

Take a look at page five of these install instructions for guidance.

Electrical is not my strong suit, even very basic stuff. I’m good with the 12v plug, but I appreciate it!

Anyone aware of a ”DC 12-24V” to “USB-C” cord that would power a dash camera? I feel like this would be ideal, since I have the power port on the dash. I’d prefer to mount my camera on the dash anyways, in case I need to replace my windshield… one less thing to re-do.

Thanks!

Hey folks,

I'm having some issues, and I know many of you have installed dash cams already.

I've wired everything but seem to be stuck concealing the wires along the top of the windshield, as well as down the A pillar. I also don't want to snap or break anything, hence asking for help haha.

I don't need ideas on other paths to take; I'm already committed to this one lol. I just need help on how to remove the A pillar trim, as well as if I need to remove the headliner slightly, how I do that. In the past, I could just tuck the wire up there very easily; not the same on the Bronco it seems.

Thanks!

watching. Along with the camera wiring, I need to get antenna cable from the back to the front.
