dashboard warning lights

I have a 2023 outerbanks that everything seams to be ok have had no problems except one, the battery light on my dash is lit it is very dim but lit just the same. Ford cannot fix it they don't know why its on they have put in a new battery sensor monitor, a new alternator, a new circuit breaker asy and a blown circuit breaker. but the battery light is still on they tell me an engineer at ford is working on they problem. Has anybody out there had a similar problem or have any idea what the problem might be, help.

DM your VIN and I can look into it. I am a Ford tech and I specialize in the electric systems. The Ford engineers are nothing to write home about. I get forced to escalate to them and then I usually figure it out before them

So funny enough you have no codes showing up, but it does saying charging system fault. I see all the stuff they replaced and they found a melted plug at the alternator. Do you have any high draw light bars, winches or anything like that?

I get a charging system fault notice on my phone every time i start the bronco. no winch no lights i ordered aux switches but it came through without therefore no lights. I do have elect air horns that i installed that was the first thing ford checked, also I disconnected them my self the light stayed on. I also have an AUX break light the kind that lights up in the spare tire that was plug and play install ,I also put that back to stock just to check the light stayed on. both the horns and light are reconnected.

Did we every find he fix for this? My 24 braptor has the battery light that will not go out.

Check all your grounds, including the fuse box. Early on poor grounds were causing all kinds of weird issues.
