You could install power sources such as these with power from your battery since they will accept a 12v source. You'd want to run a fuse on it for sure but then you could mount it out of sight and run your cables wherever you wanted to install ports.

Thanks for sharing this. While this one is discontinued, I’m going to use the following:

Coolgear Chargeit! Mini 75W Dual Port USB-A & USB-C PD Charger w/PPS & QC4.0 Support https://a.co/d/56daaV4

and

OBVIS USB Type C 3.0 and USB 3.0 Male to Female Flush Mount Cable Waterproof Kit Accessories Car Dash Panel Mount Adapter Converter E... https://a.co/d/4DmQy6d

I just need to figure out what amperage of fuse to use at the battery. 3A? I’ll post my results.

I actually have the power supply you purchased but swapped it out for the one with more ports. Either one will work great!

I didn’t have to change my fuse and I’ve ran the console 12v along with the MagSafe in the console and/or the I’ve mounted to the dash

I just added the USB port. I hooked it into accessory switch 6. Heated up a pick to melt the holes for the 2 screws. Drilled a hole for the wire - used a hanger to find a path over behind the glovebox. Then pulled the wires up to the dash.

Hi. Were the wires from the USB ports long enough to reach the built-in wires under the glove box? Or did you need to extend them?
And the UBS port you used can be connected directly to 12V power? Don’t need a power converter?
Also why did you go through the Aux switch vs connect directly to battery for always on power?
It’s a great looking setup. Just add a dash rail and all is good!

FWIW, Ranger has no USB power provisions there. Ranger5g members have spent the entire $20 to get the USB setup from Raptor and install it. Push clips are pretty tricky, you'll also need a flat head screwdriver or plastic wedge.

If USB ports are why you "need" to buy the Lux package, those are some miiiiiiiiiighty expensive $20 parts you're after.

Will let you search their forum for the part numbers and trim needed. Ends up looking quite tidy, I know it works great in our Ranger.

CAN YOU BE MORE SPECIFIC...I want to add something similar to this to my Bronco but cannot find it on the Ranger forum you spoke of?

This is a pretty simple plug and play solution: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZCG99LW

Mabett Dashboard USB Expansion Dock for Ford Bronco 2021 2022 2023 2/4 Door 2 Type-C Ports 1 USB-A Port Bronco Accessories. Just need to find them when they are in stock. I've seen a coupon code here on the site for a discount.

Question? Its probably been answered here somewhere?
Is there a USB port that the power stays on (is constant) in our broncos? Not depending on the accessory mode?
I know I have one in my F150. Turn it off and my phone still charges.
B.D. Sas. Mid Package.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm... thread is no longer there. I was hoping that the issues had been fixed.

I have the Mabett version installed on my Bronco. The first Mabett Dashboard USB Expansion Dock I ordered had one dead port. (My type-C port near the passenger side that outputs 15W did not work) I reached out to Mabett and they shipped out a replacement for no cost. All the ports on the replacement work but it's still not a working as advertised/expected product. Sometimes it charges well, sometimes it seems to not keep up with the load.

I've been waiting for the IAG version to become available for several weeks now. They say it's an all new design, not the same as the buggy Mabett version. Still waiting... and I'm not sure if the claim that it better, is true.

I don't want to give up the 3 mounting points that I've got with the Archetype BPM. I wonder if they'd ever do an update version with power supply ports? @EIGHTLUG
