My wife drives a 2016 Audi Q5 TDI, 250 HP and 425 Ft LBS Torque. She averages 28-30 MPG around town and up around 35 on the freeway cruising at 75-80 which is about 10 MPG better than the ICE motors. More Torque is a huge difference. It drives so much better than the ICE model. I vote diesel for the Ranger and Bronco.Another thing about diesel swaps - What advantage is there to it?
You (might) get slightly better fuel milage which gets pretty much cancelled by the difference in fuel cost. You will never recover the cost of the swapYou will never pass emissions (in some states this makes a difference)
Only advantage I can see is possibly bragging rights
