I recently installed the same Black Friday sale Diode Dynamics dual fog light kit from 4x4TruckLEDs.com on my 2024 Badlands with stock upfitter switches. I centered mine in the mod bumper openings.
Very quality lights, brackets and harness, easy installation. I highly recommend.

Rather than lay the harness on top of the skid plate, I wire-tied it to the existing cross-frame wire bundle behind the radiator in the engine bay:

I think it’s terrific that 4x4TruckLeds furnishes their wiring harness for the double fog lights kit that’s already pre-wired to rock ā€˜n roll a future plug ā€˜n play third pair of lights. They should point out in their sales literature the nice fact that their harness is upgrade-ready. Will definitely be adding a third pair of lights from 4x4TruckLEDs down the road.

In the meantime dialectic grease and electrical tape will seal off the spare connectors, or these o-ringed sealed Deutsch dust caps can be obtained cheaply from Amazon.

At first I mistakenly thought that the DD SSC2 Sport SAE fog light output was a bit underwhelming, but once I got them properly aligned there’s a lot of bang for the buck illumination! They penetrate fog, falling rain/snow, have a wide enough spread for cornering and lighting up the ditches, and have a sharply discernible cut off so I know I’m not blinding oncoming vehicles. And the amber back-lit running lights function is very cool.

Here’s a picture with the white SAE fogs on and the yellow fogs set to backlight:

I like the DD lights, I have their A pillar ditch lights.

Can you post a pic of just the fogs on, no headlights, from the drivers view, and another with the headlights on too, just for reference how much of a difference they make?

Sure!
Just the ā€˜24 Badlands LED headlights low beam:

Just the white and yellow DD SSC2 Sport SAE fog lights on, without headlights:

You can see how much wider the light-spread is while still illuminating the road forward.

Both white and yellow DD SSC2 Sport SAE fog lights and Badlands LED headlights low beam on:

The white SSC2 Sport SAE fog lights put out more illumination then the yellows. Either color or both in combination are pretty good at lighting up the road ahead.

What I was looking for, in addition to some additional light for fog and snowing conditions, was more light for cornering and for illuminating the roadside for deer. I very much got all that and am very happy with the 4X4Truck.LEDs Diode Dynamics Dual Fog Light Kit.

Just one important thing to keep in mind - If you are using a supplied dual/triple light harness that has a combined return line (and it is the same gauge as the power lines), you should only ever use one pair of lights at a time. I used the 4x4Truck harness (installed ~2yrs ago, so not sure if design has changed - it should have), and it only has single 18 or 16 gauge return line. Since I only used the triple harness for 2 pairs of lights, I used one of the extra wires as another return by moving the pins over to the used connector. My DD fog lights recommend 16 gauge wiring for each pair, based on their current requirements.

That's awesome! Thanks for the pic, totally shows how much coverage they put out!
Hmm, adding to my wish list now, dangit!

You can turn all 3 pairs on with our harness and you'll be fine.

SS3 Max only pull 6 amps total. So if you did 4x SS3 Max and 2x SSC2 Max you'd be at a total of 16.6amps total for your GROUND wire and our harness is more then sufficient for 16.6amps with the distance we're running.

Good point. Always check the amp requirement for whatever you’re installing, of course.

The DD Stage Series Sport C2 2.0 LED Pods only draw: Main Beam: 1.17 amps, Backlight: 0.03 amps @ 12.8V each, so less than 5A draw with all four on simultaneously. So even a single 18AWG ground (return) wire should handle that load without issue.

Your warning is well-founded. Any combined loads higher than 5-10A it’s a good idea to double check the AWG of the various harness wires especially the ground wire as well as start incorporating relays into the install.

Well that was a fail! dealer checked and they have no software updates or configuration on their side to do.

I did just test each Upfitter fuse and there is no power to any.
I tested multiple BCM fuses, including #2 in the interior of car and they are all fine.
I tested adjacent fuses to the Aux fuses (just in case it was a seating issue) and they are all fine.

Just seems like no power is making its way to the fuse box for the Upfitters....which is confusing me because I'd assume that would be the source of the power.

Totally stumped and I want to use these awesome lights!

So let's back this up a bit... HOW do you have upfitters? Your truck didn't come with them, right? So how did you install upfitters? What parts did you buy, what did you install?

thanks!
correct..I have the base!

I bought 3 parts:
1) Upfitter switch console
2) replacement harness
3) updated fuse panel.

I followed the sticky directions and the Middleton motorsports installation instructions.
I got the proper parts for the 2025 using a badlands VIN and double checking with multiple dealers, including the guys from Middleton.

Isn't there some FDRS programming you need to do too?

From this post:
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...talled-diy-writeup-instructions-photos.35388/
15. Move on to replacing the Fuse Junction Panel Assembly (BCMC). First, using your J2534 compliant scan tool plugged into your OBD port and laptop with FDRS software, begin by starting the PMI process in FDRS for the BCMC Module. Follow the on screen prompts. It is crucial you make sure your laptop is powered at all times & does not power down mid-install.
16. When instructed, get back under the under hood, disconnect the battery and start swapping the Fuse Junction Panel Assembly/ Battery Junction Box with the one including support for the aux switches. Once swapped, reconnect the battery and get back to the laptop.
17. In FDRS, complete the on screen instructions to finish the PMI Process. You might get a Procedure Unsuccessful error indicating the BCMC has a parts mismatch. Go ahead and move on to the next step.
18. Go back to FDRS, download/run the BCMC Module C Configuration. Follow the on screen prompts until you have confirmed the programming was successful. (This will be necessary to avoid DTC's due to the BCMC with a different part number.)

So out of curiosity what idd it cost you for the console/harness/fuse panel? I'm curious. Because we sell two kits that give you an 8 port switch panel in place of the sunglass holder

8 Port AuxBeam Kit w/SwarfWorks Switch Mount is $239.99
8 Port Diode Dynamics Kit w/SwarfWorks Mount is $674.95

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/swarfw...-f-150-2023-ford-super-duty-2021-ford-bronco/

Seems like the OEM upfitter method is more work, more money and doesn't offer as much in power options. Although the install is cleaner (no switch panel control box to mount somewhere under the hood)

went to dealer this am....they updated things for an hour and didn't solve this issue
This is very different from just doing "software updates" in FDRS
