@Dirtydog I would like to know if your coupon still valid. Interested to get the headline and open to leave a review. If this is a good product, needs a wider audience. Most of soft top owners would be open to have a quieter cabin.

Just curious, why is the Bronco version not capable of being with open top and Jeep version is??

Will you create a new version that is made of thicker materials?

No Coupons for the headliner currently available. I can tell you we will probably being doing a price increase in the near future. The material costs still keep going up. I am hoping to hold it in place until the end of this winter.
The version we made for the Jeep was a different design and we are looking at redesigning similar to the Bronco. The Bronco version does a much better job at keeping the cabin warm.
No plans on making it thicker.

I am mainly interested in the noise reduction. Have you done any test, thus the reason for asking if it is going to be thicker in the future?

Can it seat on top of the Bimini top?

I installed my DD headliner under the Bestop Trektop and it made an immediate difference in the comfort and the sound level in my 4-door Badlands.

The top was not designed for the Bestop. The L-brackets at the rear are not compatible, however the DDP001 bracket looks like it will work in place of the L-bracket for those that would like to give it try.

It's a well made and thought out design.

I purchased my headliner not to keep the cabin warm (I've lived in Minnesota almost all my life so I'm used to the cold) I bought it with the hope that it would reduce the noise level in the cabin. I has performed better than I had hoped. I frequently drive through western MN on my way to Sioux Falls, SD and the wind noise on the highways going that direction used to be terrible. With the headliner installed the noise level is greatly reduced and I love it.

Thanks for the info on the Trek top. I have a lot of people ask me if it will work. From what I see it looks like it may not seal as well in the back because of the soft top brackets. Is this true? I also did not think the middle bracket would bolt on as well. Any chance you could post a couple photos of the install. I would really like to see it.

Has anyone tried putting extra foam above the DD top for even more sound deadening? I'm wonder if it can handle the extra weight.
