So I was right lol
There's one of those Bronco stamped bolts there I believe. You remove that and bolt the light bracket into the same hole. Appears the panel below it may be removable to facilitate wiring.

I was really hoping there was a wire run inside the mirror arm for the wiring. Guess I'll figure it out. Maybe its not to late for them to add that
There has to be a wire routing in there to operate the mirror and turn signal light on the mirror. If you option the upfitter switches, it would be a simple job to wire them in.

Yeah, I was the one who explained the mounting. And unless I'm seeing things, the wire runs right behind the mirror platform into the hood, where there are wire runs for the upfitter switches.

This thread has a good pic of the mirror customization bolts:

I'm guessing there will be enough room to run wires through the mirror housing but until we see what is under there, it's anyone's guess.

I had some small LED flood lights on my 07 F250 that I used for ditch lights. They installed using a bracket that attached to the hood hinge.

^--- Same brackets but I used these lights:

I had them pointed straight out to the side. I used the upfitter switches so I could turn each side on independently. They worked really well.

Well that sucks. Why wouldn't they make it where you can run the wiring through the housing?!?!?! It would be much cleaner and less aggravating
I dunno. This is exactly what I was expecting so I'm ok with it. It's how it's been done for decades so it works for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe there will eventually be an aftermarket solution for you

I’d consider using the Baja Designs S1s to keep them a little more concealed. I will admit those new rigids look pretty slick.

Perhaps, whoever installed those just went with the quickest way possible. There has to be a wiring harness inside the mirror because they are power operated. Just a matter of how difficult to open the mirror housing and fish the wire through.
