DIY Hard Top prep kit

so if we have a soft top do we need to buy those #7 bolts? I assume we get 6 of them to attach the brackets?

I want to be able to run a dual top & haven't looked at pulling apart the existing hardware, so I'm not sure.

Sharing the updated comprehensive list of parts identified for the prep kit:

M2DZ-17A605-K - Dual Top Front Hose (under the hood, taps into the washer reservoir and connects to the M2DZ-17A605-D hose at the passenger firewall). Part number includes a set of both hoses, one attaching to the front washer lines and a second routing to the firewall for the rear washers

M2DZ-17A605-D - HOSE (runs from passenger firewall, down behind glove box, adjacent to wire harness running down passenger side and to cargo area hose M2DZ-17A605-F).

M2DZ-17A605-F - HOSE (connects to M2DZ-17A605-D and runs across the rear cargo area from passenger side to drivers side, connecting to M2DZ-17A605-G).

M2DZ-17A605-G - Lower Hose (quick disconnect hose that connects to hard top hoses, or next to the harness in the cargo panel when not used).
M2DZ-15A657-A - Wire Assembly (Connects to existing harness at rear of vehicle).

M2DZ-3F791-CB - Housing Assembly Steering Column (Front and Rear Washer Control, replaces existing, requires programming).

yes im talking about going from soft top to hard top. Do we need to buy those W721071-S450B bolts to secure the M2DZ-78245A26-B and M2DZ-78245A27-B - Hard Top Bracket Latch Mounts? or since I already have a soft top do I have those bolts already from the soft top equipment from factory?

W721070-S450B (M8X33) is for the cap to quarter and the two brackets, 12 total.

W721071-S450B (M8X24) is for the two brackets on the top of the cap that bolt to the roll bar.

Front brackets should be there already. At this point it's just a choice of which of the above two bolts you wanted to use on the rear cap.

I didnt get the hardtop prep kit. So i dont have the hardtop brackets yet

Sorry, misread. The shorter bolts should work in all locations as the longer seem like overkill.
