Hi I’m new around here. Took delivery on a 2022 black diamond non Sasquatch. Can I put 35s on it without any trouble? I bought some methods race wheels & want to put them on soon but need to know if they’ll fit without rubbing.

Take into consideration whatever offset difference there is on new wheels too…

The rims are 17x8.5 with a 35/6.10” offset. Was gonna get a 35x12.5 nitto trail grappler. I think the trail grappler is also available in an 11.5 wide also.

Why did Ford design a vehicle that needs crash bars removed when you can buy it with OEM 35’s. Makes no sense to remove a safety feature they use on every truck they make if I’m not mistaken.

the crash bars are not installed at the factory for any sasquatch/35" tire Bronco from Ford

EDIT: Ahh I think you are saying they should have designed it to run crash bars with 35s

The rims should have an "offset" in millimeters...i.e. your BD stock steelies are +55mm, SAS wheels are +30mm I believe. I'm guessing the 6.10" you reference above is backspace...not sure what offset that equates to? If going w/ 12.5" wide tire you'll want a minimum +30mm offset. The lower the offset the more the wheel will poke out-wards.

I'd go one step further in why were the crash bars designed with tubular steel. If they were designed such as the high clearance crash bars, then every Bronco would have them included and wouldn't need them removed unless going to 37's or larger.

I'm presuming the offset is +35mm on the Methods as they offer that and 0mm offset wheels (not counting the Ford Performance Methods).

Thanks I can’t wait to get these on. What do you think of trail grapplers? Got any tire recommendations?
