Do rock rails need to be removed to install running boards?

Does anyone know if I’ll have to remove my rock rails in order to install running boards. Or can I leave them on?

I believe they require the same mounting points so that would be a no.

Ford factory steps / running boards mount in the same location as the rock rails. So, it's one or the other if using Ford's products.

You may be able to confirm via the build and price site. It won't let you add both to a build.

There are several companies making a combination rock rail/step that replace the factory rails. I have Zroadz installed. I know RTR also makes them.
