My Black Diamond has carpet mats in front but the rubber floor underneath.
Carpet is optional in the Bl💎 so it’s the way to go no-carpet.

My #1 choice it Badlands but I can't spend that much... so I am stuck getting either the Base Or Black Diamond.

One thing I LOVED about the Badlands trim is that the floor has ZERO carpet. I HATE HATE HATE carpet. 100% do NOT want it.

I just watched video on youtube which appeared to claim that the Black Diamond has NO carpet either but the Base trim does? Is this correct?

Thanks.
i have bd no carpet

I guess I can hope for a Job#2 miss-build on my 8/9 production date Big Bend. Maybe a janitor will find a set of cloth seats stashed in a closet and they will throw them in my build instead of MGV. Be like winning the lotto!

Base has carpet and cloth seats.
Black diamond has rubber and Vinyl seats.

The Vinyl is hot a hades, especially here in AZ. Even hotter than leather, which I can't stand here.

But, you can always get seat covers.

Also, the BD comes stock with a rear locker, and you can't get the rear locker on the Base.

I assume the Big Bend trim also has NO carpet on the floors anywhere? Thanks!

I am in AZ and have had vinyl seats for over a decade... I never had issue with heat on seats but my seats were super light tan color so perhaps that is why and I HATE hot weather (it makes me sick.. am used to cold and snow) cannot wait to escape this horrendous deadly hot climate. I will be getting seat covers anway.. I MUCH prefer vinly seats. No coth seats for me!

I don't find the MGV too hot. Truck was 106 yesterday when I got in and was nice and comfy by the time I got to the end of the road. We picked BD because it had most of the off-road stuff and not much of the luxury stuff.

That is why I am leaning towards Black Diamond rather than Big Bend...

I thought that was the case also for My23, but someone recently mentioned their recently built Base had carpet. I would of loved them in my Base (MY 22), however it would added about $5k onto my price, washouts would've been nice, but not that nice.
If someone has the Base trim it's possible to add the washout floor instead of carpet!? How? By sasquatching it? If that's the case then I rather get Base trim... and later trade it in for the Black Diamond or Badlands when I have more money... except if it really costs 5k more?? Then it's not worth it just to get the washout floors I love. Darn it =(

One person has done it on this forum, there's a thread on it, with the parts list. Cost is around $900-1000 if you skip the rear cargo section (which wouldn't be necessary).

Order banks for 2023 are closing soon, you can just wait until the 2024 model announcements are made in a month or two.
For the rest of 2023, carpets are no longer available except for Heritage.

My only contribution to this thread is that people use quotation marks incorrectly
