Let me start by saying this is just a fair warning to anyone who is looking to upgrade your taillights.
I bought these direct from the manufacturer and at the time had only seen positive reviews about the company and their quality. My experience has proven to be less fortunate not once but now twice. The photos below are taken about four months apart and the issue is the same. The difference however is that the failed tail lamp on the drivers side from the first photo was exchanged for a brand new one seen in photo number two. The first lamp lasted 6 months or thereabouts from time of install as I left them in the box for about a year while I sourced the time for the install and more importantly the early Windows PC that could run the Forescan to even use the lamps. They were actually good about replacing this from the perspective of the normal warranty period as my procrastination with installation had passed the warranty period. I appreciated this very much actually.
But the process to deal with the requirements of that manufacturer and the hoops they force you to jump through was quite painful and not logical or convenient to the end user. To get the replacement lamp took about a month of back and forth plus they wanted me to remove the light for a build code before they would ship the replacement. Let's just say this is far from convenient and what I found when I finally did go to replace the lamp is that the plastic tab that pushes into the holder is very brittle and broke immediately upon removal. The second lamp lasted less than 4 months. I guess I'm going back to stock at this point.

I appreciate that. I agree this isn't a situation that's good for either of us. Hopefully, fingers crossed the replacement you've just sent will solve this for good!

Best regards,

M

I had all the same issues on my set of lights.

Just a bit over one year, I had to replace the driver's side with great support from Oracle, but now the passenger side vertical light is out. I really like the form factor. I don't like them when they stop working. I will go back to OEM because they work without issues.

It's sad because I really like their lights and I wish they would last.

I have a set of the oracle lights and I did blow out the driverside but that was my bad since I never upgraded the trailer wiring from the stock halogen configuration to the the LED box...
Once I did that I've had no issues...

I have Oracle lights and have them replaced multiple times as well. Each one (left/right) twice replaced.
I have them I’ve replaced one but they look so much better it’s worth it but now I’ve had mine a few years also

I have the XRGB headlights and they have been amazing, of course I dont play with the app or change the colors now that I have them set, but been running them for over a year without any issue.

What types of issues have you heard of with the XRGB?

Some have had issues with the color changing part failing.

Can safely say the Oracle mirror lights were my first and last purchase with that company. Ever.

Count me in as another Oracle user on a second set of tail lights. Still, the set is 1/3 the price of a single Ford tail light so I guess I'm still ahead of the game?

Anyone got any opinions / pics on the new Form tail lights? They stick out like factory but are as bright as the oracles with more functionality. The only thing is if you are on halogen bulbs, they run off a lead from the third brake light and you’d have to probably unmount any tailgate accessories like my stinger box to run it.

I got mine in a couple weeks ago

For Halogen folks: the third brake light wire is optional - only if you want the animated or amber turn signals. This is how on the non-signature lighting the Form knows the difference between brake and turn signal (signature lights have a separate wire for that).

If you don't run the wire, the turn signal will work just as it does on the halogens - red light, non-animated.

And if you do want - yes you would need to drop your stinger to run the wire, but you can mount it right back up once you have the wire run.
