Pretty much all roads and streets in Canada are like offroading they are 70+ years old with extreme and rapid winter and temperature fluctuations severly weakening roads then heavy trucks up to 70% heavier than US bridge laws allow, often running 20% overweigh on top of it .....totally destroy roads.

Pot hole repair tech is still 1945 where snow clearing rip the plugs out along with more ashfalt LOL.

This is where $10K coilovers come into play not to mention 90% plus of roads are dirt roads haha.
I understand where you are coming from.

The 10 miles of holed and wash boarded dirt road from my property to town is why I'm seriously considering spending $6K on coil overs for my Bronco,

My Bronco (HOSS 2.0) literally bounces sideways on certain sections, Ride would smooth out if I could go faster but that's not possible due to other factors.

Just curious what tire pressure you're running? I would try around 30 and see if it helps.

I like to chime in every now and then and report that my Oracle's from 2023 are still working great no issues.

30 might work well for the dirt road but then I would have to air up for the 60 miles on pavement to get to the stores

I do not see a DOT, SAE, or FMVSS 108 compliance claim for any of your lights on the website.

Are these lights legal for street use?

If they are not, that may create liability issues after a rear-end collision, especially if the other side argues the aftermarket lamps were noncompliant or affected visibility. Even if the lights did not cause the crash, you have now given an insurer or attorney something to either deny the claim or come after you personally.

Honestly not really, it'll be fine. Haven't aired mine up past 28 in months. 😂

Same. Wifey runs at 23 and 25 psi. I’m at 26 and 28. Reference the load chart for your tires and run the pressure there until you change the weight drastically.

Yes, these tail lights are 3rd party tested and compliant with DOT (FMVSS 108) and SAE standards.

In total I had the V1s for ~4 years:
2 year in the drivers side failed, replaced under warranty.
2 years later the replacement driver failed in the same way. Just out of warranty. They gave me a discount for the v2s but I went a different way. 1st time CS was great, 2nd time (not terrible still) had to hold thier feet to the fire.

Which is french for not legal. Otherwise the DOT markings would be ON the housing.

And your marketing would be highlighting that fact over the competitions.

Compliant means that the product meets or exceeds all FMVSS 108 testing requirements. We us an independent specialized lab (ISOQA) for all of our testing. The DOT does not "approve" automotive lighting products. Under federal standards, manufacturers certify the product's compliance with the applicable requirements of FMVSS 108.

FMVSS 108 does not require the “DOT" marking to be molded into the lens or housing.

Our statement means these tail lights were independently tested and validated by an accredited third-party laboratory against the applicable FMVSS 108 and SAE performance requirements. We are not using vague language to avoid the question.

Then why not stamp the lights with the standard like the OEMs do?

Because possibly there are very specific tests that have to be passed in order to legally apply the markings? Or a specific testing facility has to do the certification?

Something that "compliant" lights don't have?

And "compliant" is indeed vague language.
