I've decided for now to just get the garage bags for the front doors. I'll find a way to strap them in when I need to...don't figure I'll pop the rear doors anyway, and can always buy those later.

You know it's even stranger, and it never occurred to me until I considered switching to a soft top, but apparently you can't buy the door bags unless you buy a hardtop. Doors and tops don't have anything to do with each other.

What about all these four-door folks that are switching to soft tops but still want to store their doors in the back? Guess they're SOL

I saw that as well. Does anyone know if it is because they won't fit with the way the soft top folds down? It's kind of a make or break for me regarding changing to soft top vs hard.

I think it is just because of the package..it includes bags for the two roof panels above the driver and passenger which are moot.

So fords site would need to be updated to have the door bags separate...but I'm guessing parts department as the alternative.

Thanks, Thought it was just me. The option to buy the-door bags only-for a soft top wasn't available at when I ordered. It appears they are now available as an accessory.

Yeah the garage bags and the onboard storage are completely different.

There was a thread a while back with someone was trying to determine the part number for the on storage bags Don't know if they were ever successful.

Of course it's only applies to the four door.

These are the garage storage bags, and from what I can tell are different than on-vehicle storage.
Sorry, That was my point. They don't offer them for soft top only.
I think only option right now is the garage bags.

So it sounds like they aren't offering the on-vehicle storage bags for soft top? I'll be pretty upset if it is that way

Am I the only one that assumed the door bags were included for all models?

@Ourbroncolife patiently explained to me that all models come with bags for the roof panels (front for 2dr or front/mid for 4dr).

Door bags are extra?

The only door bags I’m seeing in the accessory list are Cover King “Garage Bags” not the ones shows in the Bronco Nation video. Assuming that means they don’t have the anchor straps, harness, etc

Also in that list are the Cover King Roof Panel Bags - also listed as “Garage”.
I made that mistake too.

I am hoping it's an order able part at the dealer soon after full production ramp.
I would assume with the Hardtop shortage, there will be plenty of unordered storage bags for doors available.

Considering the two door door bags won't be designed to be tied down in the back, and most Jeep aftermarket versions start at $100, I am thinking they are way overpriced from Ford.

For the four door, where the tie down ability and infographics have value, the equation is probably different.

87D is the order number but my dealer said they can't order them. They can only order the garage bags

And that's not the part #. That's on the dealer list, I've seen it....

Now I wonder if, for now, they can only be on original order?
