@ToddGreen No luck for me.

All of my modules are completely up to date. I didn't have any DDM or PDM updates. I did have a BCM update that I did, but my windows still don't do the updated drop procedure at all.

Mine is a 2 door, unlike the OP's Bronco. So maybe they just don't have the programming out for 2 doors yet?
Dang. Was hoping that you were successful.

Mine is a two door that was built in August 2023 and the window drops when I unlock with my key fob. However, I live in an area where it’s not necessary to lock your vehicle so I usually put my thumb on the door and pop the handle with my fingers without pulling on the door to allow the glass to drop before I pull the door open.

Yours was built with the programming already. Mine wasn’t.

Mine was built in Jan 2023, do you think it has the programming? I've been having some funny problems with my windows recently.

My rear driver side window doesn’t retract at all when shutting the door, so looks like I’m going to the dealership

It would be nice to work better regardless of fob. I never touch mine. No need. And my peeve: PEOPLE! There's a little door lock thing on the door! Use it. The horn won't honk, sorry, but you won't scare everyone nearby.

I put a little on a paper towel or shop towel. A little goes a long way. I do al the door seals as well as the hard top seals maybe twice a year.
The window belt is not accessible at all. You'd have to smear it on the window to lube which would be pretty dumb.

Sorry I thought you meant the rubber seal at the top of the window.

Correct. If the doors are locked - when you pull the handle there is not enough time to both unlock the door and roll down. Unless you pull the handle, it unlocks, and then you push the door open after the window as moved. To make it smooth you have to unlock first.

Maybe, I have a 2021. If they added it to new models that is probably where the update came from.

No idea, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You can buy the J2534 scan tool and software license for personal use but it's pricey. There are cheaper versions people have used, but the official Ford scan tool is $1600. Plus a software license. You can buy a 2 day license for either $50 or $150, I don't remember which one you need. It's not worth it just to update your windows.
My 2023 BD has this feature. Built in July and picked up in August

Okay thanks for the info. Mine’s a four-door so I’ll ask the dealership to take a look and see. I’ll let you all know what I hear.
Hi, all.

My dealership installed the DDM and PDM updates today. The window short-drop feature works great, as OP explained.

I have a 2022 Black Diamond 4-door with a June build date.

Perhaps the updates are only out for four doors now, because Ducati's 2-door didn’t have one ready yet.

Either way, I’m sure they will soon be available for everyone and it’s a very nice improvement to the wobble. I give props to Ford for getting this issue addressed.
