Aww man. That would piss me right the F off. I plan on inspecting for that upon delivery, but if they say they can't do anything, I'm not sure what recourse I have. I'm not going to not take it unless things were really bad. Watching this for whatever advice the good folks have.... Good luck OP.

I’m sure they could’ve done something to at least make it look better but, sounded like they weren’t willing to. It’s something hard to see unless you’re looking for it from the backside. I plan on contacting another local ford dealer and see what they say

You can adjust the door yourself. It’s not particularly fun, but you would be able to get it exactly how you like it.

If your looking at other dealers look for one that has its own body shop. A body shop can dial that in easily. The dealer I bought my superduty and my bronco does not have a body shop and the GM told me up front when Inaskes about some light scratches on the superduty (used) that he had nobody that he felt qualified to do any body or polish work. So there are small dealers out there that just won’t mess with things that could end up in paint damage.

Mine are the exact same way. Drivers side annoys the F out of me. But passenger side looks fine. My Ranger was the same way but all the door weren't lining up. This will probably be my last Ford or last custom ordered vehicle.Drives my OCD up the fing wall.

You could try listening and adjusting the door strike.

Take the doors off then it's not a problem....

Seriously though, mess with the striker, It's 2 bolts and could be a 5 minute fix.

I had the same issue on my drivers side door. It was indented about a 1/8 inch. Took it in and dealer had the body shop re-align it. Looks perfect now. They can certainly fix it. It should be a warranty issue.

I had the same issue. It took the dealers body shop about 30 mins to fix.

My passenger side door is off, took it to the dealer’s body shop and had them look at it. They had me make an appointment to have it fixed.

Took it in for the appointment, they kept it the whole day and then decided not to do anything. They claimed they were afraid if they tried adjusting it I might end up with wind noise or leaks. They also said it was within Ford’s spec and alignment issues like this are normal for an “off road” vehicle.

Pretty annoying to spend this much money on a brand new vehicle under warranty and have to fix stuff like this yourself.
