Has anybody else made holes in there modular bumper for light bar installs. Good idea or bad idea? pros and cons?

That is another option but I have thoughts of doing something different. ThanksWhy not just buy one of the many available that bolt on ?
wow! thanks for all those pics!I like drilling hole in my bronco. When doing it make sure you have the arm bar on the front of the drill. Protect what might get hit in a bind. Have put over 20 holes on the outside already. Some have rivet nuts, some lights in them. Just take your time. It’s thick but kind a soft. Use a punch to center hole too.
Far as good idea or bad, that would be if you have wires behind the location, accidental poke through with a drill bit, or getting the double portion of the bumper. Besides that, mod at it!
