I have been driving in the snow on 4A and noticed a burning smell. I thought it was the snow rubbing against the wheel well but it still persists. Any ideas

thanks oh my I hope it is not serious 7000 miles on the carHi, based on the “traffic” of posts on drivelines I am going to suspect you should drain the transfer case ( save a sample of the fluid in a small jar or plastic container) and look closely ( get a picture) of the metal collected on the drain plug. The transfer case uses two quarts of MERCON LV..
Also, how many miles do you have on this Bronco?
This is my transfer case fluid .. Had three winters on it ( 4x4) and has only 6700 miles..thanks oh my I hope it is not serious 7000 miles on the car
