I'm a fan of my Capable Bumper and I'd like to upgrade the fog lights while keeping the same look. Has anyone here installed these but in the SAE white fog (MAX output) version? If so, how do you like them? Can you keep them on while daily driving at night or do they blind oncoming cars? Also did you opt for the amber back lighting? If so, what happens when you switch on both the amber back lighting and the fogs at the same time?

Finally, do you think they're worth $600?

Link to what I'm considering:

Had SS3 Pros and now onto the Max’s(both amber).
The Maxs are crazy powerful, but they have a better cutoff than the Pros.

As far as installing goes, it’s easiest to pull the bumper if you have the factory crash bars. Be sure to zip tie the factory connector/H11 Plug secure to avoid breaking a wire… ask me how I know 😜

Due to a better cutoff of the Max, I have less people flash me than when I had Pros (the lights are aimed full down)

10/10 - would buy again

That's great! I pulled the trigger on the Max floods but in white. Looking forward to the upgrade.

*I daily with the bumper pro’s on, only 3-4 people seemed blinded by them, otherwise no reactions

Damn, wish yall had a dual SS3 kit for the modular bumper! But that one looks slick too.

We do... Just don't install the 3rd light :)

Or go with our open style bracket.

I dunno if it would be worth making a dual kit. I mean we could look into it. Maybe do a pair of SS3 in there with a flush look.

But UGH, those brackets... SUCH a hassle to bend. The press brake requires a lot to make the bends. I could always modify what we have in CAD for dual i suppose. I'll add it to my wish list of stuff

I run the Pro’s and am very pleased with the light output. Maybe I’ll need to try the Max next time around.

Yea there's another company doing brackets with dual 3" LEDs in there but I don't think you have the ability to pick and choose the beam patterns/power levels like you can with the DDs. I've seen a few guys on here asking for a dual kit, not sure how much justification you'd need but my bonus hits my March 1st paycheck, gonna have some change burning a hole in my pocket thats for sure......just sayin'...
