I’ll watch the vid in a bit. (It’s crazy loud where I am right now). Did you go with the HD?

I’ll be installing the HD kit on my truck next weekend. Currently sitting on my garage floor.

edit - ok. I watched the vid. 😎
Thanks for the review. My 2D is pretty heavy so I’m on the other end of the spectrum, hoping the front springs are stiff enough.

cheers.

I'm a big fan of my Eibachs - I took the non-HD kit and I really like the ride.
It sounds like I made the right call on the regular springs.
I am toward the bottom of the lift range, and thus I was able to get a good alignment without replacing the control arms. I have also not modified the trackbar, but I may do a relocate bracket in the future.

Nice review
I got the Eibachs before there was an HD version.
With a 2.7 and no added weight, it sagged pretty bad in the front.
Ended up with the HD springs in the front and kept the lite ones in the back.
Drives really well but the back sags a lot with minimal added weight.
I would start carrying a large cooler full of your favorite beverage and skip the spring change

As long as you're at those minimum weight numbers, you should be fine with HD!

Thanks!

Basically my everyday set up is: steel plate bumper, engine skid & trans pan skid. Winch, LCA skids, crossmember skids & sliders. Turn Offroad HD tire carrier, 37’s, rear seat delete/drawer system, etc. Plus tools, air compressor, small recovery kit, etc. Plus I’m lazy so most of the time my small kitchen box just lives in the drawers also.

Then add 50qt cooler, 20L of water, 5lb propane tank, 3 or 6 gallons of fuel & camping gear for two people it adds up!

One of these days I’ll get around to weighing my truck with and without all my camping gear.

Thanks again for your vid.

Oh boy! You will be fine! Let me know how it rides, specifically the rear "bounce." Because if you don't have that issue, I'll swap the rears to the standard springs.

Hello Everyone,

I finally lifted the Bronco about 2.25" with the Eibach Pro Truck system. After a few months....here's my thoughts. Hopefully this will help some folks out in the future!

Nice video. Patiently waiting for them to release 2.5s!

Great to know! Were you able to fix the sag issue with a height adjustment??

It sits about 3/4" higher in the back with no added weight.
With two two 200lb friends in the back seat, it's squatting.
With two people in the back and hunting gear, I get lots of people flashing brights at me at night.
I might actually switch to a heavier spring in back

Wow....that's great to know. Maybe I'll skip the standard springs.

I have been reviewing these. There is a review on youtube from stock surplus (I know nothing about them) that reports a problem with wheel dribble when you install 37's. Has anone experienced this? I put a link to their review below.

I actually installed the standard eibach coilovers on my black diamond 4 door last week and have really loved the ride comfort with them. I'm sitting around 2.5 inch lift and maybe 2.75 in the back. I keep going back and forth to adjust the rear down or not. The front did sag quickly after the install. I'm not planning on installing any heavy accessories for awhile besides a 35 inch wheel on the tailgate. Also installed the pro comp upper control arms and the rock jock relocation bracket in the back. I'm getting an alignment tomorrow but it is driving really well currently.

I'd seen the shock surplus video about the issue with 37's and believe it could be a real thing. I'm hoping someday to put 37's on but going to focus on as light as possible and hope it won't be a serious issue. If it is I guess I'll swap to the HD springs.
