@Granger Ford no, no...I was going to @ you for info here anyways, just stuck on the ride home before I got the chance. I'm just glad we were able to get some newish info out on the process and not get chairs tossed at me.

Ya'll, I think what'll happen is a good chunk of dealers are gonna call in res order, others will take em as they call in, and others will just be a mess due to human errors.

Yea I saw that too. Pressure Play by Ernest McCarty? They make it sound like a first come first serve kind of thing.

Yet Ford has your reservation number and time-stamp. Did I read somewhere here that no matter when the dealer gets your order in, Ford will process according to reservation time stamp?
I’m sure not exactly in order due to availability of model specific parts.

I read this as "I could put my own order in ahead of all y'alls but I'm not going to."

Whelp, I sure hope yours gets on that first delivery anyway - you've earned it!

And I hope I spelled y'alls right.
No "s" at the end, y'all is both singular and plural kinda like Coke covers all "pop" no matter the brand.

This is really frustrating. This whole thing is turning into Lord of the Flies.

So many of us can’t even get a dealer to acknowledge our existence. And now dealers are being put on the honor system to put the orders in reservation order?

One might interpret the language of OP’s dealer’s email as “Grease our palms with a little extra dealer accessory action and you might find yourself closer to the top of the order list. Wink wink.”

Two problems with this:

1. Those who reserved on Day 1 (or thereabouts) are going to be ticked off if their production is delayed behind those ... like me ... that waited over a month.

2. I'm in really no hurry (two out-of-state tuitions going on) so am not really interested in getting my Bronco in Summer 2021 ... was more interested in taking ownership in late Fall.

@Granger Ford - trying to understand how the particular mix of reservations that a dealer holds might affect my delivery date or not. If I have the earliest reservation time stamp at a local dealer and they are honest (big if) and put the order in properly then I am the first one from my dealer to get entered. If I go to a dealer that has a lot of first night orders I may be further back in the line for order entry. Is that going to potentially delay my delivery date?
