Sorry if this has been answered, I searched but couldn't find anything.
When I run my bronco 4 door big bend 2.7 normal backroad 45 mph maybe 50 with AC on I get temp readings at
Oil- 189
Trans-179 give or take a couple

When I turn AC off driving normal with window down I get temps at
Oil- 217-220
Trans- 205 and seems to rise somewhat quickly.
But I turned AC back on and temps shot down to somewhat normal. They didn't seem to be flattening and were rising, so as I got worried I turned AC on. Even when I tow my 2,300 lb small camper with AC on I have only gotten up to
Oil- 216
Trans- 203
And that was up and down hills at 60

Does anyone know if this is normal? I fear it may be an issue

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco's engine temperature concern on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Mine does the same thing. Everything I have researched shows them temps are within normal range (despite seeming high).
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed it. What was the highest temp you saw?

The difference is when the AC is on the radiator fan is also on and drawing more air through the radiator.
I was hoping that was maybe the case, I'm not the smartest when it comes to the mechanics of the bronco, just saw the temps rise so fast and thought it was going to damage longevity of motor if it does it everything I turn AC off. Thanks for the info.

227 but that was on a I10 in Texas where the speed limit is 80.
