HOLY COW!!!!! That makes it so much worse!!! That would make the Lighting $2500 a month. And then one other tiny little point…
Your $1500 payment on the Lightning is based on a 5-year loan, while the $760 payment on the F150 is based on a 3-year lease. So, you know…
I hadn’t noticed the difference, but the 23 grille does look better in the pictures. But hey, that grille(?)sure looks a lot nicer for '23...
Any trucks/suvs priced over $80k don’t qualify under the new rules. There’s also an individual income limit of $400k as well. Half of the rebate is tied to where the materials are sourced and the other half to where the battery is made. Until more of the battery plants come on line in a year or two, only cars from Tesla, some GM’s, VW’s, and maybe some Fords will qualify for the rebate or maybe half of the $7,500 rebate. Because most of the raw now materials come from China most vehicles will lose half of the rebate until that material sourcing changes to countries that we have a free trade agreement with. Also, it's a non-refundable tax credit that does not roll over, so unless you have at least 7500 of tax liability, you don't get the full credit. Though I can't imagine anyone dropping $88k on a truck does not make well over that threshold.
And it has heated seats now.But hey, that grille(?)sure looks a lot nicer for '23...
I have to add them on mine. All trims in any EV should have heated seats and heated steering wheel. The regular heater kills the battery, the 12v accessories use very little power. And it has heated seats now.
