This is the backdoor link. You need a Reservation #, not a an order #. https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=XXXXXXXX

Need a reservation number to get the backdoor link to work. There is another tracker for non reservation holders, but you need a VIN for that one.

Not sure why ford doesn’t have link for order#??? It would sure clear up calls to 800#, chat, dealer!

Does the back door link provide different / more up to date status than the Ford order tracking link where you enter the VIN#? Or do they both provide the same updates simultaneously?

There is nothing to track until you have a VIN #. Ford should email you and/or your dealer will contact you when a VIN# has been assigned. Then you can start using the links here

Started my Cyber Orange Wildtrak 2door 2.7 SAS w/high package reservation 8/12/20. Turned it into an order on 2/19/21. Contacted by dealership that I wouldn’t be getting a 21 model year so I turned that order over to a 22 model on 10/19/21. I was contacted by dealership on 6/23/22 saying that if I kept the tow pkg on my order then I would most likely be getting a 23 model year Bronco. I decided to drop tow pkg from order. They told me my chances for a 22 model would be better this way, but no guarantees. Here’s hoping.

Walk-in order placed 2/4 has an 8/29 scheduled build week. 2 dr base manual, no options, small dealer in VA.

I had an original day 1 reservation but had to cancel the order due to a family medical situation. once we got past that, i made a walk in order on 2/15/22. I jumped on the ford chat yesterday and found out i have a vin assigned and a build week of 8/15.

Delivery Date: 08/10 to 9/14

Buying the first one delivered.

No VIN for me (Badlands 4D, 2.7, non squatch, LUX ) ordered same day as you. I was also going to order a Y but their seats are just a little narrow for me and I didn't want to risk losing the deposit. Now I wish I had. You'll love it. I know I'd miss being up high, but still... its a fun little EV for sure.

2/26/22 walk in order. Base 2 door 2.7. I just got off the phone with Ford customer service. Suggested that I contact dealer in the next 3-4 weeks if I haven't been scheduled by then. If I don't have a vin by 8/23, I won't get a 2022....
