Several US dealers mass converted ALL of their customers' orders, partly to capture the order and prevent the customer from switching to a lower-priced dealer selling below MSRP, and partly to capture dealer stock which can be sold for a large ADM if the original customer bails at delivery. From what I understand to be in the U.S is that there is a penalty for doing so. In the U.S I believe they can do this on a small % of units but if more than 20% (don’t quote be on this) they would lose q2 allocation units.
The Bronco Name Match Integrity Policy is designed to limit this dealer gaming by penalizing bad behavior. Since infractions could reduce allocation that you are depending on to receive your Bronco, this penalty could hurt you indirectly by pushing out your delivery date.
Here is the policy for the US, although I am not sure if it also applies to Canada?
