Fellow Harley owner and soon-to-be First Edition 2-Door Owner...

I hope to hang with you when I'm at the Off-Rodeo in Vegas. Shit looks fun. Haha
Nice! Bring your scoot! Some good rides around here (from Sept-Aprilā€¦ then a little hot).

I was curious about that. One of the Ford guys mentioned it at Chicago. The sound it makes is terrible, not hurting nothing.. but still terrible. šŸ˜‚
Was a ton of fun. Canā€™t wait to try it out!!
All of these new features that rely on antilock brakes make it sound like the car is breaking right in front of you.

You see it a lot in trail control/hill descent. My Ranger Tremor isnā€™t too bad but a Tacoma I ran with recently sound like it was breaking ball joints and ripping out parts every time it went down a little slope with hill assist.

Whats your build?
2-door First Edition. So not much to build yet. Added ditch lights and have on board air and the Baja Designs XL Linkable on order. Thatā€™ll be it until the aftermarket catches up. Def needs sliders and a roof rack.

Does it sound like slamming on your anti-lock brakes in the snow?

It wasnā€™t bad when we went down the ramp at 1 mph, but I last time I heard sounds like that I busted a front hub on my hummer! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I thought our FE's come standard with rock rails/sliders? Do they not? And if they do, are they OEM ones shitty?

Yes! Exactly like that! Thank you. Iā€™m in the Sonoran desert so I never think of that weird white stuff (not cocaine), but thatā€™s 100% accurate.

Iā€™d say these are more rocker guards. They donā€™t stick out far enough for protection from bigger obstacles.

Did it all of the time when I lived in Michigan.
Made the kids do it when they were learning to drive in the snow so they would understand the reason for the sound.
