My 360 camera that's part of my passenger side mirror comes and goes. It'll work for days, and then be black for a few more. Likely I need a replacement camera, but I'm willing to pull some bits apart and troubleshoot on the idea that maybe a connector is simply loose. Has anyone else dug into where the connections points are in the wiring? I'm assuming there is a molex connector behind the mirror housing, but there has to be a downstream one as well I'd like to check the fitting.

If you don't have FORScan or a way to pull codes, PM me the VIN. I'll send you any codes the truck is reporting that are relevant to the issue. I can also send you any TSB's or SSM's that may pop up that may provide a clue to the problem.

I had similar issues with the front camera which ended up being an issue inside the camera itself and has worked find since getting it replaced.

I had the same problem with the front camera going black. I gave it a couple of light taps and the problem went away and still has not returned. good Luck !!

I have the same problem with my front camera. Sometimes it's black and other times it works just fine. I have a '22 Badlands with 24k miles and the Ford dealership in Charlottesville wants $150 to look at it because "they can't be sure it's covered by the warranty." I'm confused on the definition of bumper to bumper. Oh - and they said it has to not be working at time of appt and I said but your a week out and it's intermittent. So if its working at the appt, I lose the $150 to look at it? This is my first Ford, but I've never heard of such terrible policies (that I hope are dealer specific). I don't know how to get the camera fixed with policies like this.
