I added the floor mats because I like the logos, especially in the 2nd row. Note that the mats are apparently different for carpeted floors vs wash out floors. They are listed separately in the accessories guide.

It's listed under the 2-dr designation as well.
Hmmm. Thank you for making me take another look.

These are the references I was thinking of (its on OB and BL in the latest Order Guide):

But under the BASE standard equipment is this:

I guess what they meant with the first clipping was there are no rear floor mats for the 2-door.

This is a perfect example of the type of thing that makes crystal clear sense to the person who knew what they intended to convey, but from someone on the outside it's not clear at all.

I find that to happen a lot with Ford documents and communications.

I went with the floor mats, because, I figure 20+ years from now that may be one of the potential unforeseen wear points on this vehicle.

Any type of rubberized coating rubs off over time, and where my heel / feet rests with sand etc underneath will only accelerate that. Would rather have the mats take the abuse.

I also like the "easy shake out" factor.

I ordered a 2-dr Black Diamond and decided to get the liners from the parts counter so I could still get the mats which looked like they would be deleted with the liners if factory ordered. But that could be more of the less than clear Ford documentation.

Get the liners, it makes a big difference, I currently have the washout floors in my vehicle with the AW floor mats set on top. It's so much easier to dust off, and you can just wipe off the vinyl floors. I ordered a 4D BL for the same reason.

Nope, not at all. I use Husky and they are better than the Ford OEM ones. Husky has the taller lip, holds in stuff better. Been doing this for over 21 years, works great.
Really, my Husky’s look like crap and the pointy things on the back have made a disaster out of my carpet?

Spotted your problem there, you're running carpet.

Seriously though, Husky has three different models/grades. The "classic" ones are what you are talking about, the high grade are soft rubber while the mid grade are harder material. I have the mid grade in my current truck.

3 years of wear.

I figure the liners would be a good FordBucks buy, no sense holding up a build

I just checked. Go to the Ford site and explore the Black Diamond or Badlands. They both list front floor mats as included.
Cool. I will take a look in a bit. Thanks!

Wash out floor and rubber Ford mats for me. I have the Ford mats in my 2019 F150 and it makes clean out during hunting season a breeze. The Ford mats in my 150 looks like the are made by Weather Tech.

I've had vinyl floors before and they always get heel wear without a mat. But I skipped them on my order and will use my FordPass points to get them.
