I'm looking for a set of all weather floor mats for my OBX with carpet interior. I like the branding of the OEM Ford ones and I'm also considering Weathertech.

Any feedback on these two options? Any other suggestions?

Ford ones suck. I put weather tech in my wife’s wrangler those are a lot better. If I keep the bronco I will be ditching the factory floor mats for weather techs.

If this isn't the perfect example of the insanity of this forum I don't know what is. The first post said option one sucks balls, the second post - 2 minutes later - held the exact opposite opinion. Good luck OP. LOL!!!!

That's 'Murica right there!!!!

Weathertechs. They're thicker than the Ford ones and fit well. I love mine so far.

For my needs, the OEM rubber mats are perfect. I am in the midwest and have salty, slushy feet when climbing in during the winter weather.

They fit perfectly and look great.

Weathertechs are fine if you prefer that harder shell type liner. Ive had them in other vehicles I've owned. Bottom line, get what YOU want. Either one will protect your carpets.

The stock carpeted ones for the Outer Banks are "lacking". The OEM Ford rubber ones are good ....in my view. Canadian view! Ha, ha. JCG

Nothing wrong with the Ford mats… I prefer them for the branding myself. I believe we have a lot of weathertech employees/ fanatics on here always bashing the OEM mats

I have a OBX and I bought the Husky Weatherbeaters for front and back. Fits perfect. Very durable. You will not be disappointed.

I'm a big fan of SmartLiners, just ordered the fronts after I saw them in stock. I already have their rear cargo mat in our Badlands. I've had a full set of SmartLiners in my passport for over 25k miles and prefer them over previous Weathertechs.

I ordered mine with the OEM floor liners, hoping they'll work out. My BMW came with Weathertech rubber liner things, they're very stiff and they don't fit well at all.

I love my OE Ford ones. Fit flawlessly, and I like the Bronco logos.

Husky X-Act Contours have been my go to for years. Soft rubber but excellent coverage. I will never understand the love for weathertechs or even the regular husky floor mats. At least in wintery states they become even harder and twice as slippery but even in normal weather they are way more slippery when wet than rubber mats

I second these. I have these in my 4-door Black Diamond.

The fitment is great, and good customer service. They are softer than others I've seen.

I third this. Mine came from the factory with the Ford ones and they were immediately replaced with Husky X-Act. Quality Material, impeccable fit and much better coverage. In Wisconsin, I never underestimate the ability for snow, slush and salt to find its way under the mats.

You won't be disappointed with them.
