I have a question.

Thank you in advance! I own a Bronco Big Bend Sas without an Aux Switch. The Bronco came with factory fog lights as pictured, but I'm upgrading it with a modular bumper this upcoming week and ordered a set of fogs for the mod bumper. I don't have auxiliary switches… Is it a plug-and-play installation since I have fogs already? Thanks again for looking into this.

I don't think it's a plug & play because those lights appear to have different connectors than the factory harness. You'll either have to cut the connectors off the factory harness and splice in the ones that come with the lights or see if someone like @4x4TruckLEDs.com sells an adapter that works.

I included a link with the adapters I purchased. Would those work?

I don't think so. I believe the factory harness uses a 2-pin MX150 style connector (pictured below). I'm not sure what kind of connector it is that comes on the light kit you linked.

I just wired my new fog lights straight into the plug, black is ground, the other is power. I sealed with electrical tape so if I ever revert (no idea why I would) I can just unplug and replug.

Wait, did you just shove your wire ends into the harness plug?

Could I please get a pic or a video if possible? Looks like we got the same exact bumper in our avi pics. Thank you very much!

I would not recommend this.
Low voltage LED protected by a fuse, insulated with grease and non conductive tape?

Hey there!

We do have plug-and-play solutions for this! I would just need more info on what lights you are installing in there to make sure you are getting the correct connector adapter styles.

Please feel free to call or text me at (317) 934-6778 or email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to assist!

Thanks!
