Having waited since July 2020 (or January 21, or October 21, however you wish to start the calendar,) I'm naturally wondering when my order will be scheduled.

These two sources have been golden in clarifying information. Feel free to add to this list, to help those changing over a 21/22 order to a 23, or dealing with their '99ed order, or hoping to place a new order.

1.) From Leonardtown Ford: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/group-posts/6523/#js-comment-43986

This post from a Ford dealer suggests that reservation holders who 99ed their build will be required to relinquish their 99 status and commit to the 2023 queue, or lose their reservation completely. Read for more insight.

2.) From Long McArthur Ford:

Great, clear piece explaining the letter distributed to dealers about the 2023 changeover. What's most interesting here is how repetitive he is about one point: while everyone has been talking about constraints vs allocations, the third important piece of the puzzle is demand. Ford will only build so many Sasquatches, so many hardtops, etc. So long as demand is high for them, they will trickle through the system. He says at his dealer, they average 8 allocations a month, and half are Badlands/Wildtrack/Sasquatch, with the other half being lower trims.

Note how many times he says, "If you want 'a Bronco' and you don't want to wait, order a 4 door, softtop, non-Squatch, automatic Big Bend with a 2.3". He admits that was the build of his personal vehicle, to avoid waiting.

3.) So put these together, and what do you have?

Let's say you're currently #20 in line at your dealer. And suppose your dealer gets 10 Broncos a month in allocation. Does that mean you get scheduled in two months? No, because If there are 15 orders ahead of you that 99ed, and 5 drop out but 10 remain, you're now #30 in line. Does that mean you get scheduled in three months? No, because you may have ordered a BadSquatch, and others ahead of you also ordered in demand builds (most likely the enthusiast choice of early orders that have been waiting). So roughly, you and the folks ahead of you may be held up as only half get scheduled each round, and your dealer gets late ordered Big Bends and Outer Banks in ahead of you. So you're mathematically more likely to wait at least six months.

Anyway, watch/read, and understand it could still be a very long time for your (and my) "cool" builds to proceed.

4.) Also from the video linked above, watch and you'll see his logic for intrepreting that off-the-street walk-in orders will be accepted (most likely) late October/early November.

Bear that in mind if you're thinking of placing a new order at a volume dealer with high allocations.
