I spoke to my dealer Service Department lead guy - Asked if there was any difference in the Ford Extended Warranty, and the aftermarket ones.

In summary, he said the Ford (Premium) Extendwed Warranty covers everything - new, where as the aftermarket warranties sometimes try to make you buy a remanufactured part. The example he gave was a 3rd party plan that would only pay for a remanufactured transmission, which had a super limited or no warranty.
He also implied that if you buy the Ford Premium, you get better treatment in general, they (the service department) sort of "just take care of it (whatever) for you".

For Premium 6 years & 85,000 miles - Flood is around 1/2 the price of Ford. You save around $1,500.

Anyone have any experience with Flood, or opinion on what way to go?

Most of those companies your looking at are selling the Same Ford (Premium) Warranty as the dealerships (y) Your just saving a ton of money.

The same? Really? That would be a great reason to not buy from Ford.

Being a former Californian, putting on 15,000-20,000 miles a year on my vehicle was the norm. There is so much to see out west and at great distances. Having moved to the NE, I put on 1/2 of that now. Much to see and cover in a more compact area. The extended warranty max is at 8 years. The question to ask is how many miles will you plan to drive over an 8 year period?
Also, how much of a deductible can you live with? $0, $50, $100, or $200?
Granger and Flood appear to have the best rates for the Premium Warranty. I plan to use these as my baseline for the plan I select.

The max years for the ESP has actually gone back up to 10 now. The Miles cost more than the years as you go up the scale, so sometimes it can be cheaper to go Max on years but not quite on Miles

Also Ford warranties can be used ANYWHERE in North America and don't carry any co-pays.

I have Flood ESP on my 18 F150. 25k miles a year and it's paid for a new 10 speed trans, cam phasers 2x and more. Best 1200$ I ever spent. I'm all Ford and my previous 4 trucks, extended warranty wouldn't have paid for itself lol. Glad I got it for this one though.

I purchased my 21 Bronco in CT, currently 39,000 miles. Had my first issue, "park brake fault service now" which appears to be a module they have to replace, fortunately still covered per dealer but they recommend an extended warranty. I looked up Granger Warranty, looks like I still qualify as I'm under 41,000 and under 36 mo of purchasing.... pricing and mileage up to 175,000mi was way better then what dealer could offer me. Just wanna verify, I think its obvious but, a Granger warranty is a Ford warranty, and once purchased can be used at any US dealer, correct??

Yes correct. It will show up in your Ford Pass app.
