They made slight improvements for the 2021 model but basically the RAM TRX caught them with their pants down with its hemi V8 so now Ford is already talking about their "late availability" Raptor R that is likely 2022 or 2023.

This competition looks to be great for consumers though. It will be hard for any dealership to be adding the "traditional" raptor ADM onto the price now that there is competition. Ford got a little lazy at improvements on the Raptor and the competition caught up. Same thing has happened for Jeep with the Ford Bronco.

Marketing "geniuses" at Ford strike again. Man, I keep rooting hard for Ford (own stock, ordered an FE, drive an F-150), but damn.

I'm sure it is a fantastic vehicle, just as the Bronco surely is, but Ford absolutely fails at marketing. These "creative" videos as nothing but fluff.

That's literally what marketing is. It's not a spec sheet on video. It's meant to appeal to your emotions. Get you to want the product. You can figure out the details later. A normal ad only has 30 or 60 seconds to catch you. These videos are about making you interested. Same as the product teasers and product reveals.

Is this AMB? I hope so, as I really like this color and is what I have on order. It is very similar to the color "Carbon Black" BMW used to offer (perhaps still does). It looked like old school carbon paper for those old people out there who remember that, like me. It was a cool mix of black and blue together that showed differently in different lighting.
