On other forums I belong to, we are always happy for the manufacturers to be involved and to have a point of contact when issues are unresolved at dealerships. I am not sure why people would see Ford dropping off this forum as a good thing but I am new around here so maybe there is a history.

They will still look monitor what people have to say and what issues they have. I had an issue with a new model once and dealer said it is not a known issue or declared an issue by manufacturer. So they tried to deny claim. I said someone has to be first with the issue.
Ford will still look. They have too.
