Ford Pass Points What to use them on? Do they Expire ? ? ? ?

I did not know I had them and today I was trying out the app and looking around and see I have 225,000 points in there.

I would like to use them on a Ford Performance tune once it's CARB legal for California.

365 days from date of issue. CARB certification may take a (long) while. 225K points seems like a lot.

That does seem like a lot of points. Were you a super early reservation holder with dual or Mod top? Those guys were supposed to get a large pile of points. Points are worth a half cent each.

I spent most of mine on one of the Covercraft reflective windshield inserts. Those are about $80. I'll probably spend the rest of my points on my first oil change.

Note that if you are in a state with sales tax (which is most of them) you have to pay the tax out of pocket. Points expire 365 days after lack of use. (i.e. ever time you spend or acquire points the timer resets)

Point expire after they remain idle for 365 days. As long as you use and/or earn at least 1 point every 365 days... they will never expire.

Point conversion values:

• When you SPEND FordPass points, it is $0.005 per point... or 200 points per dollar.
  • Can be spent on service/parts/addons at most Ford dealers. Or on the Ford Accessory website.
• When you EARN FordPass points, it is 1 point per every 10¢ spent. Or 10 points per every $1 spent on Ford parts/services.
  • New Bronco purchase earns you 42,000 points

I had to call around. After multiple calls to multiple dealerships it seems like any "Ford Performance" affiliated parts department sells them and most allowed Ford pass points usage.

They said I could use points on roush products too.

I used some of mine on Ford Performance hood struts and installation...hate the prop rod look...did the same for my Stang...

Orders some basic maintenance items from Flip....points covered it 100% even though I'm out in Cali.
