Ford Sync bandaid

My daughter taught me a quick fix for those times when Ford Sync doesn’t sync. She has the issue with her 24 Maverick and said to hit power on/off quickly 4-5 times and it will sync. I recently went on a long trip and every now and then you get back in and SYNC doesn’t sync. She said do this and it connected right away every time it didn’t connect. Lame that you have to do this. But it beats powering on/off waiting 5 minutes for music or resetting radio to only hope it syncs.

I have this happen too much also. I found that if I go to the app with the "Audio" button on the far left and turn on either the AM or FM radio (or a Sirius preset) for a second I can then return to CarPlay and it will sync.

Ah, interesting. I've had it brain fart frequently. I might try this tomorrow if I can get my dashcam install finished tonight.

I also have a mag cable that I'll snap on and force the connection if the wireless doesn't connect.
