One of the best mods I’ve done yet. Up here in the PNW the top came off as soon as the 10 day forecast showed no rain. Staying off until there’s at least 2 days of rain in the forecast.

I copied another member’s idea of using suction cups adhered with gorilla glue instead of the straps. OMG it works so well. I added Rockworks tool less mounting bolts to tie the whole thing together. Outside of the tonneau cover being insanely tight to install, it’s perfect. I’m so stoked on this mod!

Same question. I'd like to see where those suction cups go. I was just trying to sell my brand new tonneau cover but maybe you can convince me not to.

Nope. The suction cups are glued to the underside of the flap of the cover itself. I’ll post pics tonight.

Whew…I thought you had glued the suction cups to your truck and was gonna report you for Bronco abuse. 😂😂

No. We won’t see rain for another month or two. 🤞🏻

Now someone needs to figure out a tonneau cover to use if you still have your soft top installed. That was pretty frustrating to find out the hard way.

I like the idea of the Rockworks bolts. Question - did your tonneau cover come with the bolts needed for install? I just got mine and the instructions say "use factory bolts", but it did not come with any. Since I have a soft top, I do not have the bolts needed.

Nice. I like the rockworks too but nothing beats zipping off the factory ones with a drill.

Nice implementation of the suction cups, might have to do this too.

Reason for the rock works is that I don’t travel with a drill and if I ever need to remove the cover when out and about they were my solution to not have to pull out the tool kit…
