I'm digging the GUI on the new version. It's just prettier to look at. Some things require a couple more taps, but overall it seems snappy and still has the details I need. Used the FordPass app for a long time with my F-150 and always thought it just looked old even if it was a bit simpler to navigate.

The new 5.0 version of FordPass has officially launched and is available in app stores! Design seems much nicer, there's now a dark mode, and slide to start is much easier than holding the button down and watching it spin.

I didnt see where it shows current mileage on vehicle...

Mileage is on the Service tab under Vehicle Health now!

Can't speak to the extended warranty not appearing as I don't have one but the only big feature I'm not seeing is Zone Lighting.

At least they let me nope out of that update fairly easily. And they asked for feedback as I did that. That’s the only plus in my view.

Just updated, seen no notification so had to search in playstore for android and updated from there. I see nothing new or exciting other then a different layout and some visuals missing. It would be nice to change your vehicle image to a photo of your own, but seems like asking for a lot.

Still says my Bronco is located at 1 American Road, Dearborn, MI. Just 2k+ miles off, not sure why it stopped working and what will fix it.

I updated the app the other day. Guess I shouldn’t have. I rotated my tires today since I needed the left front wheel off to get to the PCV hose to install a catch can. I no longer see any way to enter your own maintenance. Then I see an entry for the visit I had recently to my dealer to have them look at an oil leak from the front timing cover(we won’t go there right now). It says scheduled maintenance was performed. Ahem, they didn’t do anything. Maybe the pretend multi-point inspection(yeah right). This update is a joke.
Yeah it says parked. No shit, I know that! It’s in the friggin’ garage!

It was buried on the last opp. I haven’t found it on the new one yet.

Is zone lighting working? Some F150 folks were saying the new app removed the ability to activate zone lighting. Think some other losses were mentioned as well.

Here is what needs to be added back:
-Service entry for owners, we want to record our maintenance so your ESP doesn’t screw us because they will claim we didn’t change the oil
-ESP status, need to see that back ASAP
-Location, need to be able to refresh

What is needs:
-Zone lighting
-View all cameras for those that have them and are paying for the damn Ford Connect and Hotspot feature…I mean get with the times Ford, you have the cameras, your 6 years behind schedule.
