Anyone have any experience with this system?

No experience, but I was looking at something similar called Rollnjack, which was about 3x as much. The big difference I see is the one I was looking at came with a rolling stand and the one you linked needed to be attached to a crane or other system.

The lift at HF is pretty reasonable especially if it’s on sale. looking at around $400 for the system vs the $1000 for a Toplift.

It looks great but I cant see how that will work with a Bronco because of the rear roll cage?

I agree. I want a version of a portable top hoist but the rear cross bar seems to be in the way for these. Anyone have any recos?

I think our only option is going to be something that reaches over the top and attaches to the front/back/sides/etc since we will have to work around the previously-mentioned back roll bar. I'm sure they will come up with something, but it wont be the same at the Jeeps.

In looking at mine, it looks like you could get a decent contact patch between the rear glass and the roll bar. that said, I'm going with the pulley system.

I went back and forth with freedom jack a couple of weeks ago with pics and dims of my 2D top. The owner said it wouldn't work because of the cross bar. I may work on a design for a similar product, since I already have the engine hoist.
