Hi gang

New to the Bronco world, so please bare with me!

Decided to do a 1” leveling kit from RC for the front of my 23 big bend just for cosmetic purposes, wanted more of the level look given the rear is a tad higher from the factory.

im noticing the nose is poking up much more that I expected from an inch and it’s far from being leveled. Spoke to the shop and thinking of taking one of the spacers off since it comes with 2 for each side. Reduce it to half inch

Any thoughts on this ?

thank you for your help

Have someone take a picture with you sitting in it, and then maybe with a passenger. Might be more level then? Just a thought.

What were your measurements from the ground to the fender flare front and rear before and after the spacers were added?

That looks like a leveled Bronco to me.

You could
  • Remove weight from the rear (spare tire delete?)
  • Add a spacer to the rear suspension
  • Replace the front spacer with a smaller one
Don't forget to re-aim the headlamps!

Me bad, I forgot to welcome you to the forum. So welcome. Lacking before measurements, I assume you just went by eye that it needed to be leveled. It would be helpful for this discussion to know where you are now. Can you measure it? For reference, my badlands Sasquatch sits at 38.75” front and 39.75” rear for a 1” forward rake. Many consider that acceptable including me. Some don’t like any rake, but from the factory they come w/ about an 1” of rake.

I think it looks good, but if it bothers you, then I would take a spacer out of each side. In most vehicles the front fender openings are bigger than the rear, and if the truck is perfectly level, it will be a larger gap at the front flare. Measure the rocker panel to the ground right behind the front tire and in front of the back tire and see how much difference there is if any. But regardless, if it seems too high to you, then take a spacer out of each side. It’s purely an eye of the beholder deal.

Your shop is right you’ll need to take one of the spacers off each side to get what you’re wanting to achieve. RC splits their spacers up so you can fine tune the amount of lift your wanting depending if your running a heavy aftermarket front bumper/winch. From the pic I think it looks ok it’s not that noticeable.

I agree with what some of the other have mentioned. To my eyes ~1" of rake looks leveled for both Broncos and trucks. If the front and rear measurements are the same, it always appears nose high to me.

Take some measurements and see if its actually nose high. It may just be that it just "looks" high. Which, is still enough to take one of the spacers out if you dont like the look.

My point being it that it may be level and just not look level since you can see the top of the UCA in the front and nothing in the rear. It may just be your eyes playing tricks on you.
