This is the same for the hardtop, the clips need to be removed while using the hardtop. Since the top is up, these clips are not 100% necessary. But you can use the mesh with the top on.

Unclip them and stow them in the pocket.

What are the dimensions of the 4 door shade?

Thanks! You know you fellas could make a killing by selling a 20D-40D nylon quilt with synthetic or duck down for us folks in the cold weather.

Could attach the same as your current shades with grommets and bungees.

Just saying - I'd be order #1 as I am placing an order now for a shade to be used in conjunction with my synthetic quilt.

I'm actually ordering some 5mm neoprene wetsuit material for this purpose as we speak (thickest I could find). Will make a decent sleeping pad as well. I like the idea of a down blanket up there!

You can get pure neoprene in thicker cuts, but I like the idea of having a more durable layer on at least one side.

We are working on an insulated, fleece-lined, and quilted add on "blanket". The size of the blanket would be the exact size of the mesh top. No hard ETA or price yet....

Looks awesome! What is the sound like riding at 70 on the highway? Is it loud?
Highway speeds with no top are already somewhat loud. The gearshade does not induce any additional noise like flapping or anything if that is what you are asking.

Is it too late to get in on this? My Bronco just made it here this week and I'm looking at maybe having y'all quote for a custom bimini.

@GearShade Oh boy! I was close to ordering a 2 Dr "soft top" version, but thought i better see if Gear Shade was on this forum. So glad I did; I want the 2 Dr Hardtop version.

Do you have a release/offer date?

Do you have a coupon code for Bronco6g members to apply at checkout?

Thanks!
@GearShade

Did the initial install on mine yesterday afternoon. Definitely make life easier with the rear cap of the hardtop removed 😉

Hoping to have something very soon for the hardtop. We are having some custom parts being laser cut right now. They should be here this week.

If there’s a change to get updated hardware for the hardtop, I know the instructions on the website were not the same as the softtop, please let me know. It was easy to figure out but having extra bolts threw me for about a minute 😉.

The shade does not flop around much at highway speed and I would say does not add to the noise at all. If anything, it cuts down the wind a bit for the rear passengers.

We are planning on selling a part kit to upgrade the soft top versions to a hardtop version. The only issue is you will have to install grommets in the mesh. So it means cutting 2 holes and hammering in 2 grommets. We can supply 2 black grommets, but we won't supply the grommeting tool. It can be bought on Amazon or Harbor freight. Like this.

HA, love it! I'd rather a big ol' "OU" on there, but I went to both schools so I can still appreciate the Poke love.
