No way I’d remove them with this tire.
The factory splash guards (aka, rock chip preventers) are confirmed to not work with the factory rock rails, which are standard on the BD. Looking to the aftermarket to solve that problem.

See the Removable Mud Flaps thread in the Exterior Modifications sub-forum. The product's manufacturer sent me photos (I'm waiting on permission to post them) that allows fitment with the rock rails.

Thanks. That product looks like it might work well. Looking forward to the pix with rock rails!

Just be forewarned, they aren't cheap. But the lower flap can be removed for wheeling leaving the mounting bracket fixed (which as a side benefit is actually mounted to the wheel well and not the flare like the factory splash guards do).

I have Maxxis RZR ATs on my Super Duty. 265/75r16. Effectively the exact same size as the BD tires. I like them alot. They ride nice. I may go to these in a 33 or 35 when it is time to put new ones on or if I save up the money. 60k mile warranty, which is great when the front tires carry that heavy diesel around all day.

Would this be a good time to mention there are twelve 35x10-17 SX2 swampers on the blem site for $185 each? I want a fat, nasty 35x15.5 SX but that 35x10 deal is tempting me 😁

"Hello Granger Ford, this is MaverickMan. Would yall mind hanging onto a set of swampers while I save up money to order a MY22 Bronco?"

For real I should check the shipping price to Maui I could buy all 12 and and sell 8 to get the money back. Swampers are like $500 a piece here new.

The only silver lining to this is the jackass who tailgates you is likely going to get a chipped windshield…

I have the same tires of my super duty. Yeah they grab a few rocks occasionally, but they fall out. Nothing worth crying over. Any AT tire will pick up rocks...

They're great tires otherwise

Michelin’s do the same on my 250 and aren’t good off road anyway the worst of both worlds

Not like these.
Like I said earlier, I’ve been through several different tires over the past 5-7 years and these collect rocks far worse than anything else I’ve owned.
I buy a bunch of trucks. Yes, most A/T’s pick up some rocks. These are by far the worst I’ve owned.

Are KO2s any better/different?
I’m getting a BD too but might be getting some take offs from a Badlands

My wife runs KO2s on her lifted F150. They grab rocks too; not as bad as the Mickey Thompson Bajas she had previously, but such is the nature of AT/MT tires.

Just took these out on the driveway. There is gravel her last 1/4 mile to the office.
